Since gathering as alumni of Seoul National University in 1996 with the motto to “Follow the principles and adhere to the basics,” our dental specialists have worked together as a united team to deliver a full range of dental services.
The A Plus dental specialists all graduated from Seoul National University and each pursued further studies to obtain their Master’s and Ph.D.’s from top schools in Korea and the U.S., as well as completed special training in their selected dental field at Columbia University, Boston University, and New York University.
In particular, our orthodontist Dr. Eung-Soo Kim has been a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists(ABO) since 2004.

Providing services to foreign patients is not just about being able to communicate in their language. It involves the understanding of their culture and a friendly attitude based on integrity.
Our English-speaking coordinator, Ms. Choi has worked at A Plus for over 15 years. From the first moment you submit an inquiry, she will make your entire dental care process easy and comfortable. Ms. Choi is available to assist on site, online, and over the phone during office hours.

Painless Local Anesthetic Injection
Painless injection delivers a computer-controlled amount of anesthetic to reduce pain by controlling the injection rate, pressure, and volume of anesthetic. Topical anesthetic gel is also used to numb your gums before the injection so that you won’t feel the needle penetrating.
CEREC Restorations
The CEREC CAD/CAM milling machine allows us to design and fabricate ceramic restoration in our office, eliminating the need for multiple appointments. We can complete certain prosthodontic treatments such as inlays in one day.
3D CT Scanner
Providing a highly precise 3-dimentional view, it is used prior to implant surgery to plan a precise and safe treatment. Since it can reveal internal structures and defects, we use the CT Scanner to diagnose complicated dental issues as well.
Intraoral Scanner
An intraoral scanner is used to create detailed 3D models of a patient’s mouth and teeth with high accuracy and precision, eliminating the need for physical molds. Our intraoral scanner is used for orthodontic purposes, such as designing clear aligners and removable retainers.
Plasma Sterilizer
A Plasma Sterilizer uses hydrogen peroxide gas plasma at low temperatures, making it gentle on delicate dental instruments. We run the Plasma Sterilizer at least two times a day.
Autoclave:
An autoclave uses pressurized steam at high temperatures (around 250°F) to sterilize dental instruments and equipment by killing microorganisms. Basic dental instruments in a single-use sterilization pouch go into this sterilizer machine after each use. We run the Autoclave 3-4 times a day.
Dental Insurance
National Health Insurance Service (NHIS)
Many foreign residents and overseas Koreans have Korean National Health Insurance. If you have NHIS, some basic treatments are covered, including a regular check-up, yearly teeth cleaning, gum treatment, root canal, extraction and more.
TRICARE Dental PROGRAM
Approved as a preferred provider by TRICARE Dental Program in 2010, we have seen TRICARE-enrolled patients who are family of active duty U.S. military service members. All the claims are handled directly through our office.
Private Dental Insurance
If you have private dental insurance, you definitely want to take full advantage of it for any necessary treatments. We are able to directly bill some of the insurance companies which we are in-network for.
Even if we are not an in-network provider of your dental insurance, we are more than happy to help you with the required paperwork in order to facilitate your claim process.
