If you are thinking that this is just an ordinary dental clinic, you'll be in for a surprise! The immaculate and brightly lit waiting area reflects how much the clinic looks into the comfort of the patients. Water dispensers and coffee makers are also available while waiting for your turn.
As the clinic work on appointment basis, I didn't have to wait long at all before an English Coordinator (who speaks flawless English) approached to explain the whitening procedure as well as the potential teeth sensitivity after whitening. I was led into a room and the hygienist sat me down on a state-of-the-art dentist chair with a plasma screen attached to it. There were several additional procedures that were taken to ensure that all equipment were sterile. All the probes and syringes etc were new as you can see them wrapped up in sealed plastic wrappers.
The dentist then came in to do a thorough check for cavities and they were recorded down. The hygienist took over to clean and polish my teeth before the whitening starts. I was very nervous as the previous experience I had in Vietnam was a whole lot of pain and my gums even turned white due to burns by the chemicals. The coordinator and hygienist sensed that I was nervy so they kept soothing me and talking to me to distract me from the process. Throughout the process, my face was covered with a cloth so that I wouldn't have to watch the entire procedure.
Except for a few very brief shooting pain (the feeling you get when you suddenly drink iced cold water) after the procedure, the entire process was painless! I was very satisfied with the outcome as well, my teeth was a lot whiter and there wasn't any sensitivity issues.
