Hello everyone! My name is Charles. I'm 24 years old from the United States.
I first heard about A Plus Dental Clinic through the foreign community in Daejeon where I taught English for the past year. I traveled up from Daejeon to Seoul for my first visit. As you may know, being in a new country with a language barrier and trying to get medical or dental care can be quite difficult. That is precisely why I was so thankful for the English Coordinator, Joyce. Talking to her made me feel at ease throughout the entire process from directions to A plus and thereon. The staff and doctors were so welcoming and kindly fielded any question I threw at them.
Upon arrival, I was so surprised that the doctors and staff were proficient in English, even enough for some laughs here and there. It was extremely reassuring that I could easily communicate with the person who would soon be operating inside my mouth. I ultimately received 3 inlays, where two of them were replacing old amalgam (silver) fillings I had in the past. The process was quick and pain-free. I would have easily recommended them to anyone at this point.

Through getting my treatment, Joyce and the doctors seemed genuinely interested when I shared my future goals and aspirations. When I told them I wanted to become a dentist, they quickly extended the offer to come observe the doctors and learn more about the field. After shadowing for nearly 60 hours, I can clearly see that this establishment is top class in every aspect.
On the treatment side, the doctors and staff are extremely thorough, responsive to questions, and give 100% in every case. I have never seen the doctors rush to get a patient out of the chair. Instead, the patient always feels like their time is valued. The practice adheres to all the American/Canadian standards and practices, as every doctor has received training in the United States beyond their original degree. The facility is kept remarkably clean by staff, basically spotless. Also on the business side of things, the options and cost are always presented to the patient before treatment. Joyce will go over every aspect of payment with the patient and never withhold any information, even if that means they are losing money. In summation they are honest, hardworking people that do their job extremely well.
In a few hours, I'll have a wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Kim and I feel truly calm knowing all that I do about A Plus. I highly recommend their service, even if you must travel many hours to get here. After all, you are getting the same, if not better, service of a western dentist at a fraction of the price.
